If you had any doubt that the final film in the Hugh Jackman Wolverine series was going to be anything less than awesome, well I’m here to tell you, it’s beyond awesome.

Before the end of the year I was treated to the first 42 minutes of Logan, and I never wanted it to end. 42 minutes of hard R-rated Wolverine. The opening of this film is the stuff of pure cheer out loudness, and let’s you know right away that this film is unapologetically R rated. Director James Mangold told us during the event a bit of his conversation with Fox “What if we made Little Miss Sunshine with Marvel characters and violence?” he followed with, “And they did.” This first 42 minutes felt like a fast 15 minutes it was that good.
